Looking at someone and SEEING them are two different things

I want to challenge you, myself included, to start SEEING people. See them for who they genuinely are. See them through God's eyes without judgment. Every person has a story, and each story is unique. It is incredible what you will learn about the person you just sneered at because they don't "look" like you think they should. Maybe you encountered them right after saying their final goodbyes to a loved one; perhaps they just learned they didn't get the desperately needed job. You don't know another's story unless you take the time to listen and learn.

Here is another challenge. Listen with the intent of understanding, not reply. Make time for others you don't know. You are the only Jesus (happiness, hope, love, faith) that some people will ever see.

Stop and think about that for a moment. That is powerful! You have the power to change someone's day, week, or even life! So make it a positive change!

1 Samuel 16:7 - But the LORD said to Samuel, "Do not look on his appearance or the height of his stature, because I have rejected him. For the LORD sees not as man sees man looks on the outward appearance, but the LORD looks on the heart."

John 15:12 - My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you.
